There I'll be Waiting for You

From the hoary XI standard days with t heir silly poetry competitions..

When the worries of the day have gone away
And the tired mind wandered astray,
When the last rays of the sun shone long ago,
The night profound reigns supreme and lo!
There I'll be waiting for you.

When the events of the day are remembered still,
Your mind, blissful sleep is yet to fill,
In the depths of your mind, there are theatres grand,
Unexplained events in an unknown land,
There I'll be waiting for you.

In the noisy silence of your dreams,
The land of no logic, as it seems,
The fragrance of flowers and love, I'll bring
To your troubled heart, a lullaby I'll sing
There I'll be waiting for you!
